Founders, Lou Dortch, Sr. and Lou Dortch, Jr. have worked in the restaurant business since 1987 and founded Great Lakes Taco in 2017. Great Lakes Taco started as a 21-store acquisition and has grown to 32 locations in southeast Michigan with plans to grow aggressively. We pride ourselves on creating a culture of recognition which is fueled by our leadership team constantly being visible in our restaurants.
